Well, the Consensus had been formed. These people were just deniers.
For 40 years, the science was settled. Too bad that nearly everything they told us was wrong and it has had devastating impacts on the nation’s health. To borrow from “Animal House”, “You f&&ked up. You trusted us.”
Well the article hints at why the full results weren’t published, the lead researchers were Ancel Keys and Ivan Frantz. The article says the researchers had a theory they believed in, but really, Ancel Keys was one of the primary proponents of the theory.
The class action is going to be massive. The word is getting out.
