A nice poster from S&MA at JSC.
We need a lot more of these. https://t.co/eBTcCPSC6a

Didn’t know about the N2O4 poisoning episode on ASTP flight return.
Dennis started working on that several years ago. He had single page handouts back in 2011.
I see he has the SR-71 incidents now. I know he had X-15 incidents previously, but don’t recall the SR-71 events. I watched the video of the M21 crash yesterday. It is amazing that any crew member survived the ejection at Mach 3.
I knew about the M-21/D-21 accident but didn’t know video was available. Thanks for the heads up. I just watched it. The video of the first flight made me think, “World’s Fastest Biplane!” I remember hearing one of NASA’s 747 carrier aircraft say that when it was carrying the Shuttle, it was the World’s Largest Biplane.
Have you read about Bill Weaver surviving having his SR-71 breakup at Mach 3+? His backseater also died.
OT: AP calls WI for Cruz, Saunders leading vs. whats-her-name. 😉
