How he went from climate promoter to climate skeptic.
It’s amazing how pathetic the warm mongers’ “arguments” are. It’s one of the ways you can tell it’s not science; it’s ideology and religion.

Bjorn Lomborg on the trivial effects of current climate proposals. But the economic impacts would be far from trivial.
I couldn’t get through both of those realllly long op-eds but it was interesting to see the AGW Apocalypse advocate make an interesting appeal to authority, not that we must believe without question the work of others but that AGW Apocalypse advocates and the organizations they work for are beyond reproach, unquestionable, and especially pious, although not in those exact words.
That is a bit different than saying, “Hey, I am not a climate scientist and I have zero time or desire to see if X study can be reproduced, so I will believe what it says and you should too.”
Its more like saying, “Hey, I am not a climate scientist and while I have zero time or desire to reproduce X study, we don’t really need to because the people who did it don’t suffer the flaws of other humans because they devoted followers of science. Their views are free of ideological influence and questioning the validity of their conclusions is beyond the pale considering their stellar pious character.”
Its not an appeal to the authority’s conclusions but to the claim of authority over others. She was saying, you don’t have a right to question authority. This isn’t science and goes against the grain of what makes the USA different than the totalitarian means of controlling people that dominated human life for much of history.
Fall down and grovel before the Voices of Nature™, open thy wallet and shut thy mouth. Mother Nature speaks to you, through us. Questioning us is an attack on Mother Nature and when she is angry, humans will die. Only a sacrifice will appease her. Repent! Repent! The time is nigh. Shed the trappings of material wealth and comfort for they anger our Earth Mother. She will punish us with calamity and pockylips if you do not obey the Voices of Nature™.
Remember also that NO ONE can reproduce these studies–because the computer models and data upon which the models operate are carefully kept secret–or, rather, were, prior to Climategate.
Only in the field of “climate science” do we have “peer review” of studies with secret computer models and secret data. Try that in, say, organic chemistry. “I have found a more efficient means of synthesizing carbon nanotubes, but I’m not going to tell you what my methods were, nor let you see the raw data recorded during the experiment. Just trust me, okay?” You’d get laughed out of the field and twenty years later you’d STILL be working at Burger King.
