Unfortunately, looks like it’s only partial on the Left Coast.

The moon will rise in partial eclipse, then darken from there. Mid eclipse will be at 7:47PM local time, so the darkest phase will be completely visible.
That’s okay, it’s going to be raining on the East Coast (where I am).
“NASA will detail a major science finding from the agency’s ongoing exploration of Mars during a news briefing at 8:30 a.m. PDT (11:30 a.m. EDT) on Monday, Sept. 28. The event will be broadcast live on NASA Television and the agency’s website.”

Sorry to keep at this on this thread, but this is huge. Proven liquid water on Mars changes all future manned architectures. SpaceX won’t need to bring Hydrogen to make propellant, they can extract water from the soil. It changes the calculus for settlement plans as well. It moots a scene in The Martian, which I won’t spoil. It provides an extra data point in favor of Jeff Greason’s island-hopping idea. Huge.
Looks very cool here in coastal SoCal!
Beautiful last night looking over the Atlantic shore north of Boston. At least as amazing as the Moon turning red were the stars and Milky Way coming out more and more brightly, as if on a moonless night.
