Schiliro had had police bring 20-year-old Nicholas Dorsam to his home to drink wine, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. When Dorman attempted to leave, Schiliro prevented him from doing so, shooting the gun into a stack of papers and threatened to kill himself. Schiliro later credited Dorsam with helping save his life.
It’s almost as though these anti-gun nuts who want to take away our guns are projecting on us their own lack of control and irresponsibility.
Umm, how is the man using the police to pick up his boytoy not the focus here? The man showed up in a cop car, did he feel he was allowed to leave? Then the Mayor pulls a gun on him. Why did the police take part in this? Is corruption like this common back East?
Maybe the problem is that whoever “owns” politicians in that area is a poor judge of character? It must be a hard problem. Find someone charismatic who is corrupt enough to get bought yet stays bought (by some combination of honesty or blackmail that you have exclusively) and who doesn’t spectacularly self-destruct like this guy did.
