  1. I wonder if it will be used for electrodynamically propelled tethered space craft. Also, I wonder if this new process, which depends on the presence of “long nanotubes with few atomic defects” would work better in microgravity.

  2. Isn’t this just another article about the same story you covered a week or so ago? It is interesting. We’ll see what comes of it.

  3. As the fibers are electrically conductive, composite aircraft built with these should not need an extra metal mesh layer as is done now for lightning protection.
