  1. Since Tim Scott is a republican, he can’t truly be black. Therefore the racist Tea Partiers are supporting an evil white guy who just happens to have the skin color and other features that one normally associates with African-americans.

  2. It’s quite clear that the Tea Party is racist for supporting the nation’s only black senator, just like the Tea Party was racist for supporting Herman Cain over Rick Perry in the Florida straw poll, and for supporting Alan West.

Why is it clear? Well, um, like Mike said above, they can’t really be black if they aren’t supporting Obama. After all, Democrats never say racist things things like

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” (Joe Biden quote about Obama – which calls every previous mainstream African-American inarticulate, ugly, and unsanitary )

“light skinned African-American with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one” (Harry Reid quote).

So, therefor, it’s not racist for the Democrats to have had a longtime Klansman (Byrd) as their senior senator, or say things like the above about Obama (and in so doing slandering other blacks), but, it’s anti-black racism for the Tea Party to support a black candidate over a white one, because, um, shut up.

  3. @Mike: Exactly. Which is why there needs to be an explicit definition of what “racism” means as used by the left. IOWs, it does not mean what they think it means.

    1. The left has a very clear definition of Racism; it means whatever is convenient for them at that moment, though usually along the lines of “Anyone who disagrees with us on any subject”.
