SpaceX’s Busy Year

…but not quite as busy as it looks. In addition to the points made, there will doubtless be delays. But it’s still great progress considering that the company didn’t exist a decade ago.

BTW, as an aside, note that in comments over there, Tom Elifritz actually sounds sane. I hope he’s doing better than historically.

    I think it’s more a function of whether or not he agrees with or approves of what’s posted. Also, he’s been booted from enough forums to know how much he can get away with.

  2. I hope these Vandenberg launches will go along better than last time.
    That launch site makes a lot of sense for SpaceX given that it is in California and the DoD certainly requires a lot of launches.

    1. The DoD still does most of its launches out of the Cape. Vandenberg is primarily used for “earth observation” satellites.
