“Patients are asking me to break the law.” And a lot of them probably supported the law, and voted for Obama.
Well, as (former) Queen Nancy said, we have to pass the law to find out what’s in it. Idiots.

As sad as it is to say, it’s going to take a bunch of people’s spouses, mothers, fathers, siblings, and even CHILDREN dying from simple stuff that’s fixable TODAY, from lack of care tomorrow, to get them mad enough to want the Obamcare supporters out of Federal Office, so it can be killed off.
I won’t be holding my breath though.
Obamacare and its 2,000-plus pages are here to stay. We lost. They won. It’s a different world now. If people “die from simple stuff,” then that will be the paradigm in which future generations will live–and they will have never known the difference.
Slavery got eliminated, the Nixon price/wage controls got tossed, Postal Service censorship is a thing of the past, and the Second Amendment got upheld by the Supremes. Anything is possible, IF you’re willing to fight.
Not ‘easy’. Not ‘instantaneous’. Just ‘possible’.
There is a lot of inertia in the system, which is why it took a century to get semi-unversal health insurance passed. Changing back won’t be easy. Voters were skeptical about extending health insurance to another 30 million people; they’ll be extremely skeptical about efforts to take it away.
It will be quite easy, once the voters learn first hand how much it sucks.
And that nowhere near all of those 30 million people are going to get health insurance, either.
How many do you think will get it? 10 million? 20 million?
I expect some of them to be furious. But I’m afraid a lot of them will have their anger misdirected at “the rich” for not paying enough to cover the denied care, oblivious to how the abomination of a law is making health care more expensive by removing choice and further disconnecting people from the cost of their choices.
SCOTUS Just ruled to allow more challenges to obummer-care.
If a country will allow a TSA, it will allow any degradation.
