  1. At this point I’m not sure if it matters who they appoint, since the new head will mostly be a puppet whose main job is to not make waves or expose the incompetence of the administration, as if that is the big secret the CIA was entrusted with protecting. This administration is like a closed union shop that punishes anyone whose middling competence makes the rest of them look like they’re slacking.

Back in the days of the Soviet Union, a general in Red Square was overheard saying “Brezhnev is an idiot!” He was immediately arrested by security and sentenced to six months for insulting Brezhnev – and ten years hard labor for revealing a state secret.

Brennan can blow up tents in Yemen until the sun runs out of hydrogen and it won’t slow down Al Qaeda one bit, nor do anything to slow down the Middle East’s slide toward nuclear armaggedon. Making the CIA look heavy-handed, making America look like an evil thug, and creating ever more Al Qaeda recruits to oppose us is probably the goal of the administration. In that light, there is no good pick for CIA director.

  2. Would anyone in the US believe that shooting semi-randomly into crowds in our cities would be an acceptable law enforcement strategy? I wish I could say that is not what we are doing “over there” but, as the media no longer have any interest in exposing our “collateral damage”, I really have no idea.

We needed a Republican president if only so that the MSM would do its effing job. Sadly, we won’t know now until an aggrieved party stages a spectacular show of death and destruction like 9-11 in one of our major urban centers for payback. Sadly, given how those locales viciously turned on GWB after they perceived the danger had passed, and raised the current Keystone Cop regime into power… I find it difficult to even care.

Lying about the president to get him kicked out office is their job?

Come on, you know that’s what they would do — it’s essentially what they did after Bush was re-elected in 2004. There was and is no pretense of interest in reporting facts; the media are co-opted and corrupted by the Democrat Party.

So I read “The Finish” by Mark Bowden. In it, he quotes Obama as saying he really wanted to see Osama captured annd face justice in a US courtroom. Later, Bowden gives his opinion on the value of that quote and mentions the same thing Bart does.
