Mark Steyn has an amusing update over at The Corner. I find it amusing that some people really think that if it goes forward, it will be like the Scopes trial. I guess that’s how these people really think. It’s of a piece with the nuttiness that skepticism about AGW is on a par with creationism.

It’s funny in a way. Both cases are about going against religious beliefs. In the Scopes trial, the charge was that the teaching of evolution violated Tennessee law because it went against their Christian religious beliefs. If this suit happens, it’ll be because people are ridiculing the beliefs of the AGW religion and one of its high priests. That will not do.
