Why do I believe that won’t happen? Am I that jaded and cynical?
One suspects that Romney with ignore this advice, not because as Rand suggests that he is following the dictates of the LDS Church, but rather because he is following the advice of people like Mike Griffin and Scott Pace in his aerospace brain trust.
To be fair, ATK is up in the Gentile part of Utah (near Ogden). Someone ought to go over there and smack them around a little bit. I’m sure there’s a TON of room for their technology in the private sector. Might just be that these private contracts have more oversight?
Also, lay off my church =). I’m sure ATK/space policy in general is probably the farthest thing away from the thoughts of church leaders.
What? Church leaders not interested in space, the ultimate missions field?
