…and we want them to keep talking. Seriously, WTF difference does it make if a majority of people want Rush Limbaugh fired? It’s not their decision to make. As long as he has listeners and sponsors, he’ll stay on the air.

Wow, count the exploding heads:
That’s not a discussion — that’s digital archaeology.
It’s up to 7542 now, lol! And whats the margin that 7235 of those comments aren’t just reiterations of, “Fire Rush Limbaugh!” over and over again.
It’s into five digit territory now, and the 10% margin that isn’t “Fire Rush!” chant is xenophobic screaming about people outside the Hive.
BTW who the hell elected this Fluke chick as spokesman for all the women ?
Contraception a ”basic women’s health issue” only if pregnancy is a disease, plus don’t she know about counting days and having your boyfriend use condoms ?
We know that condoms are annoying, but sex is not consequence free.
That’s the irony.. if there’s a health argument to be made for any form of “contraception”, it’s for condoms. One can actually imagine a health insurer freely choosing to give away condoms, even to people they’re not insuring, because of the preventative effect on their premiums.
The Libertine Left is attempting to sow confusion between freedom to buy and use a product, vs. getting someone else to buy the product for you.
What makes you think they even understand the difference? Fundamental concepts, like the meaning of money, are not taught to the majority these days. Ask a dozen random people about “free trade” sometime.. observe with dread how many people think it has to do with “globalization” or international treaties.. the idea that you and I should be free to trade without someone else standing over us and demanding a cut is dead in the minds of the vast majority.
nymphomaniacs for fluke 2012
To answer Rand’s question: more and more people believe the whims of the majority should be enacted by force.
…and all it takes to control the opinions of the majority is a tiny wealthy minority.
…and not -this- tiny wealthy minority, we’re talking about -those- people over there.
Yes, only the ones from Harvard. Only those Mandarins may rule.
It’s funny actually that the whole thing has actually turned back onto them. The Dem’s started this contraceptive rhetoric to contort the right in onto itself but they’re too busy snarling at each other about Rush to notice that Obama’s numbers are tanking and and both Romney and Santorum are coming out ahead in polls. And the DNC continues with attacking Palin all the while. It all just shows their ever increasing levels of desperation.
Works for me. As I wrote earlier, I typically don’t listen to Rush. I say typically, because I will listen as opposed to reading the NYT. For instance, I tuned him in last Friday for the first time this year. He spent much of the discussion bragging about his increased audience size. It was boring stuff, but if it makes liberals head explode, I’m glad he’s there.
Fluke’s BF.
Back in the late Sixties, when actor-comedian Orson Bean found himself leaving his left-wing ideology behind and gravitating to a more pro-freedom philosophy, he talked about becoming “the only person in show businsess blacklisted by both Left and Right.” In the Fifties he apparently had been suspected of being some kind of fellow traveller with Communism; now his former “liberal” friends were outraged that he was drifting away from The Hive. Bean said, “A ‘liberal’ is someone who will fight to the death for your right to agree with him.” True then; truer now.
