…versus stuff that’s actually, you know, true:
The Obama campaign has a consistent story about the nature of its fundraising and the administration’s relationships with lobbyists and special interests. That story is consistently false.
Picky, picky, picky.
How can anyone say with a straight face that the Democrats don’t use PACs?
When I was in HS, our teachers were in a PAC, and yes, they gave to Democrats. They were very proud of that fact, and I’ve never forgotten it. They had no problem letting their bias show in classrooms, even if that resulted in them teaching erroneous “facts”.
PACs were a post-Watergate reform, intended to clean up politics.
I also wonder how much of those “small donations” came from a small number of donors who donated repeatedly? It shouldn’t be too hard to automate large, anonymous transfers of funds into a political campaign, for example, by contributing in repeated small donations through a website.
