The page title at SpaceX is screwed up. The titles there lose punctuation and special characters for some reason. The total contract is $1.5B, not $15B.
Whoops, I meant at Space News, not SpaceX.
What I see is 15 flights for $15B. Isn’t that $1B (not 1.5) per flight (or $150m taking into account Clark’s correction?)
SpaceX also needs to stabilize their configurations (probably Falcon 9 with a Merlin 1D & a payload fairing and Falcon Heavy with (or without) cross-feed) and fly those configurations a few times before getting an Air Force contract. The ULA contract gives them 2-1/2 years to do that.
Don’t you mean $100M, given Clark’s correction?
