So, let me get this straight. We need stricter laws to ensure that moronic federal agents don’t force gun shops to violate existing laws?
[Mid-morning update]
Holder struggles with contradictory testimony. You don’t say.

More coverage from Michelle Malkin.
Well, hell – we knew that. >:-(
Following that line of reasoning the FDA / Food Nazis should force us to eat more fat, salt, sugar and whatever, so that we WON’T do it later, or they’ll pass laws outlawing french fries?
Or did I miss something?.
When a government official screws up really, really bad, the standard line is “Mistakes were made.”
No kidding. Now, who made the mistakes and what criminal charges are being brought against them? Over 1400 guns are missing and over 100 people are dead from this debacle. Who is going to be held responsible? I’m not talking about them being allowed to retire, either. We’re talking multiple felonies here. If any of us were to do the same thing, they’d be putting us under the jail. Government officials must not be held to a lower standard of justice than the populace.
But this was not a screw up. It was and is intentional. The Obama administration wanted dead people due to those weapons they forced sales to the Mexican cartels. They were – and still are – going to use the dead people as the excuse for new and very stringent gun control legislation. Diane Feinstein gave the game away a couple days ago with her call for new gun control legislation. She was flying top cover.
This is not a bug. It is a feature. Cheers –
The screw up is that they got caught breaking the law. Instead of naming names and pressing charges, the line is “mistakes were made.” Passive voice doesn’t cut it any more.
