I hope they’re displaying a full scale model instead of the real thing because flight testing won’t allow the real thing to be displayed. I would hate to think that a real prototype wouldn’t be complete by May.
If they hope to have the prototype ready by May, bringing it to a conference would represent a significant interruption of work. You’d likely lose at least a week or two that could be better spent actually building the prototype. It would be good to have a lot of construction photos on display if proprietary technology considerations permit.
