All kidding aside, my father had colon cancer. After his first operation, which removed about 12″ of his large intestine, he was equipped with a colostomy bag. If you’ve never had to deal with one, suffice it to say it makes for a serious change in lifestyle. I have to wonder, if this technology had been available at the time, whether his last two years of life would have been more bearable.
…But, yeah, Barney Frank…. 😉
