Given that the enemy is white middle class Americans, it’s raaaacist to arrest so many Muslims primarily from the Middle East for alleged terrorism.
Rand, what complete BS! It never said “White Middle Class Americans Are Most Likely Terrorists” nor anything like that. Some of the actors portraying terrorists were “white” but not all of them. The only discussion of race or class was the narrators comment that profiling by race, etc, isn’t what they want you to do — they want you to focus on suspicious activity and report it. “White middle class Americans” were not mentioned at all, and to claim otherwise is simply untrue.
I listened to the whole 10 minute video (and watched 80% of it – multitasked in a different window for the other 20%). Did you?
An unrelated comment: The video also struck me as a waste of taxpayer money – it is too long, too slow. I can’t imagine people watching the whole thing voluntarily, unless they want to comment on the video itself as I am. I find the subject interesting, and I do think people need to be taught to be vigilant, but I found the video to be excruciatingly boring.

Right Bob. There was the one chinese guy. I counted at least 10. All unmistakably white (with two white women for good measure). And the newspaper shots: Kaczynski, McVeigh, Jihad Jane, Stack. All arab, right?
You’re a good multi-cuti drone. You’re problem is you post here as BobWon. The powers that be can’t identify you. So you don’t get credit for your drool.
I am the enemy. Being a patriotic american means only one thing. I attack myself at dawn.
Meanwhile (back at the govt. ranch) they make plans, but remind themselves not to do it while the camera is rolling (digitizing?) Good to know the supreme court has our back.
Here’s another view, that contradicts Curt’s claim, and also contradicts my own point of view:

I was surprised they had Jihad Jane in the photos. There is a danger from the McVeigh types but the largest threat right now is from Islamists. What was interesting was the lack of dreadlocked tye-dye wearing ELF types but they also didn’t have abortion bombers.
There is a rise of Caucasians training at camps in Pakistan. They are being actively looked for and targeted by the drones.
Overall, the video was ok. They would piss off whatever ethic group was portrayed as terrorists. It really wasn’t about the motivations of the terrorists but about being aware of suspicious behavior.
I watch similar drivel every day on the flatscreens in Washington DC’s Union Station. One video shows the types of suspicious activities we are supposed to watch for. In each case, the actor – and there are many different ones – is a white guy who might as well be wearing a tee shirt reading: “Average Middle Class.”
At work, however, we have received official (USG) e-mails warning us to watch out in the Metro because of recent suspicious activites. The activities ranged from overt reconnaissance to actually test-planting a large package, were in every case carried out by one or more males who appeared to be Middle Eastern.
What about Saudis who over-stay their visas? Can we report that? Can we report actual suspicious activities?
That would be racist.
Better to report blue-eyed septuagenarian white women in wheelchairs as frequently as possible. After all, if TSA finds them suspicious enough to search their Depends, who are we to say they are harmless?
I can’t leave this before saying that reporting actual suspicious behavior is a joke anyway. Union Station is full of explosive-sniffing dogs, so there must be some threat. The other day, someone left a bag on a chair in one of the gate areas. I reported it to one of the Amtrak officials, got a good distance away, and watched the lighting-like response (sarcasm).
In the spirit of not publicizing specifics about security vulnerabilities, I won’t describe what happened next. Suffice it to say that if any terrorist was watching, hr now knows that one person could bomb all of the gate areas in that station, and walk away from it. Quite a pathetic performance.
