The “Digital Soyuz” appears to have landed normally, but even if it hadn’t, what makes you think that Soyuz is less safe than one of the brand-new American crew vehicles? They’ve had very little flight experience, and I don’t see how you can draw conclusions without data. The fact that they haven’t had any accidents yet (because they haven’t flown any people) doesn’t mean they have a “perfect safety record”, it means we’re ignorant of their reliability.

I’m pretty sure that I didn’t discuss in any way the safety of the new American vehicles.
