Don Rumsfeld flummoxes Andrea Mitchell. There was nothing more entertaining during the war than Don Rumsfeld running circles around clueless reporters in the press conferences.

There are things we know we know, and things we know we don’t know, but the media is mostly things they think they know, but they don’t.
Rummy destroying a reporter is like watching a car race waiting for the crash: You know it’s coming, and secretly, you’re hoping for it….even though it’s wrong.
There’s nothing wrong with destroying a so-called journalist when they’re acting the fool. In fact, it’s a public duty. Maybe if more of those so-called journalists were publically humiliated, they’d actually do their jobs instead of being hacks for the Democrats.
Koffler says “Andrea Mitchell is certainly smarter than average for the TV interviewer species.”
I wonder how he arrived at that conclusion. I haven’t seen any evidence that distinguishes her from the others.
I’m waiting for Bob-1 to pop in here and tell is that there have been officials schooling reporters going all the way back to when Empress Maud’s chief man-at-arms really gave that town crier in Shrewsbury the what-for. (It seems to be his new shtick: n type of persons have been doing x since the dawn of time, so, er, some sort of point is made in Bob-1’s universe.)

That is a lot like being the best ballerina in Galveston
Props for the Empress Maud reference, Andrea. Can I cadge a half point for my wife by mentioning the sinking of the White Ship and the nearly forgotten King Stephen? This happens to be her favorite period of English history.
Dayum! That sucka got served!
For it to be a schtick, it would have to happen more than once or twice, right? Can you find three (or even two) instances of me doing this? I can only think of one: Carl said Obama talked too much during the Egyptian uprising, and I pointed out that US presidents speak up when there are pro-democracy uprisings, as Bush did in 1989 for example.
And been sent back to the kitchen as unacceptable, it appears.

No mere googling shall serve this forum warrior!
Maybe David Icke said something about it. I’ll wait for Bob-1’s link.
Even in the hectic midst of book promotion, Rummy looks much heartier than he did at the time of his resignation. It’s just so great to see him again, giving better than he gets. I’ve had his “unknown unknowns” poem on my desk for years. Love that guy!
