Jason James Lee died. Today’s really inconvenient truth. There’s a lot more evidence that he was influenced by Gore than that McVeigh was influenced by Rush Limbaugh, or talk radio in general (which is to say, there was none for the latter). But don’t expect the press to spoil the narrative.

What I find interesting is the friendly fire on Discovery Channel. I agree that TLC is tabloid fare, but Discovery also has Animal Planet (Whale Wars regularly shows people along the sanity level of James Lee) and Green Planet.
I saw a few episodes of “Whale Wars” while travelling (I don’t have TV, let alone cable, at home) and it was engrossing: recruit a bunch of know-nothing 20-somethings from Starbucks and put them on a ship “for the cause!” I winced every time they injured themselves, however: a common occurrence. They should rename it “Ship of Fools.”
The whale wars people have good intentions but are total idiots. But if you compare some of the older and newer episodes, they are getting more competent. Well except for the one time the Japanese were literally doing circles around their ship.
There have been numerous examples of violence from the left over the last few years yet the Tea Party is treated as a heartbeat away from enslaving minorities and mass murder despite no violent acts being associated with them.
Odd that Chris Gerrib didn’t see the possibility of Gores’ rhetoric leading some people to commit violent acts.
I happened to see a few episodes of WW lately. The first had a small zodiac sail along side a vessel and shoot at it with big red paint balls. I kept thinking they are able to do that, because the Japanese have more restraint than they do.
The second episode reinforced my opinion as one idiot boards a Japanese ship in the cover of night to “arrest” the Captain of the ship. The moron is treated as a hero, but he’s going to spend time in a Japanese jail. Once facing jail, they show him upset about being separated from his family. Should have thought about the family before offering to give your life to command of the Sea Sheperd Captain.
Whale Wars? Never watched it. And I’m a scuba diver, so I love most of the inhabitants of the briny deep. I won’t watch it because of its connection to the Sea Sheperd society, whose leadership has proposed reducing Earth’s human population to five hundred million. And if people don’t cooperate….?
Those Whale Wars idiots are banking on the basic decency of the whalers for their very survival and are too stupid to see it. “Huh? what protestors? Haven’t seen anyone in months. Run their sorry @$$e$ over and leave them dead in the water with no witnesses and no bodies? You must mean those evil whalers over there. (points thataway towards an anonymous competitor for whale meat)
