It’s good. Dark, yes, but action-packed and well done.
Though I’m reminded of a comment I once read about the director trying to out-gross (in an aesthetic sense) all previous Batman movies. In that is succeeds well. The Joker is bad enough, but what happens to Harvey Dent will doubtless put some people off meat for a while (not me, but I’m a dedicated meat-enthusiast:-).
