To paraphrase Forest Gump, legitimate is as legitimate does. Those judges have no room to complain about people questioning their legitimacy when they keep doing illegitimate things. Wearing a black robe doesn’t make them all knowing nor all powerful.
In the medium term, it is going to be hard to fix. There needs to be a state by state effort from the right to elect judges who make rulings based in law rather than whatever works for the revolution at the moment.
Just like there is a pipeline for promoting generals that has been ignored, so has the pipeline for judges.
