  1. Back in “91” I traveled to Manhatten Kansas to install memory chips in a Dell computer. The chips and memory Christmas tree cost more than the car I was driving. The research professor was going to run the computer 24×7 instead of leasing Cray Computer time. He told me expensing it was easy, just add a couple of paragraphs describing its importance to Global Warming research and it was a done deal. That’s how long the fix has been in. None of this is good science, just excellent marketing.
