  1. I’ve been considering the same. To be fair, I’ve seen few get excited by the retaliatory lawsuits, because those are to be expected. There isn’t even surprise by the grandstanding press conferences demanding “we will fight in the streets”. The latest Articles of Impeachment are a joke, as Al Green says he will do the will of the people before saying he stands alone.

Still, these people losing their jobs and livelihoods are not going to have that happen without a fight. Some are incapable of doing it, but not all. Those few will cause serious problems, and people will get hurt.

Starting with the hurt to team Trump; I’m not sure even assassinating Trump or Elon will stop what they started. It will be completely obvious why they were targeted, and it will likely only increase the zeal of the American population that wants to see this corruption rooted out. I’m not sure Mike Johnson would be a good backup, but the line of succession is now packed with people who will take the fight to the Democrats.

On the other hand, Trump doesn’t need to even be that vengeful now. DOGE is dismantling at a rapid pace the financial system that props up the Democrats. They’ll have difficulty raising campaign funds from those that lost everything. They are also losing their ability to pressure lower politicians with regulatory action. I should be wary of what I don’t know, but it looks to me that Democrats will have difficulty regaining power at the levels they had before. That should protect Trump and DOGE from political retribution.

Meanwhile Trump can decide to not prosecute the corrupt. He’s already destroyed them. We have no hope to get the money back. Prosecution will only waste time and resources, while making the corrupt seem sympathetic at trial. The only value is trying to figure out how it was all set up and who lead it, but I think we will all know.

This has the effect of creating great uncertainty for those truly corrupt. Without a pardon, and I don’t think Trump would give them one; they’ll have to worry about prosecution. They’ll have limited means to retaliate. What is very likely is they will do what we are seeing begin. They’ll promote revolution in the street. They’ll lead protests that may make the BLM riots seem tame.

I say, bring it on. Again, the majority of people know what is going on this time. The protests will not be called peaceful, and they won’t have bureaucrats to protect them and traitors in the armed services unwilling to protect the population. The corrupt may not have been prosecuted for their civil crimes, but they will be harshly dealt with for their violent ones. There will be no more sympathy for them.

It is indeed a revolution. It is certainly early, and it can be derailed. We still have people on the Republican side that benefitted from all this grift. They can stab the Administration in the back. That’s why I advocate to prosecute lightly if at all for corruption. Taking away their jobs and passive income while making it clear that it did happen and how it came about is already a major win for the American people that will leave to prosper for all of us. If the corrupt get uppity, then strike them down with fury.

  2. Trump might be worth a lot as a martyr, but the loss of Musk at this point would be a civilizational catastrophe. The fantasy that he “didn’t create that” (meaning SpaceX, etc.) is sour grapes from incompetent nincompoops of various sorts. He needs at least another ten years to fulfill his promise.
