  1. A metric that would reflect that weight goes up with the cube of length and not the square of length would be a huge leap forward.

    BMI is perhaps an accurate measure of skin area.

  2. Gaunt is how I describe the moving cadavers of people I’ve seen who stay within their BMI “guidelines”.

  3. Perhaps they should try a metric that uses body weight and volume to more accurately determine how much fat is in the body.

  4. Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis seems to be accurate enough. But lately my weight goes up and body fat % stays the same, which shouldn’t be the case with diet and activities over the last few months. Flattery is nice though, even if from a machine
