Public funding to only sustain the mentally ill without treatment or supervision is literally playing with matches.
Repeat after me. Even if the dry conditions and high winds are driven by Climate Change, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to sit around, blame people and nature and not take any fire-protection measures?
They’re going to continue to give money to people they like and blame people they don’t like and create new problems they can then campaign against.
Those who claim the fire was caused by global warming need to be asked who is Santa Anna.
If Los Angeles (city and county) need bailing out after this, I expect “the world’s fifth largest economy” should be able to handle it and not have the Feds (and the rest of us) involved.
