Mohammed was a warrior. Muslim history is filled with wars. Jihad is one of the five pillars of Islam. Many of the radicalized Muslim young men came from Muslim families that hadn’t been violent. Entire Muslim communities can become radicalized. So, it is not clear to me that the problem isn’t Islam but only Islamization.
Just so we’re keeping everything accurate here, the five pillars of Islam are the declaration of faith, almsgiving, prayer, Ramadan fasting, and pilgrimage to Mecca. Many but not all Muslims take jihad to be a sixth pillar, and even those that do disagree on what jihad means. Some state that it’s the internal fight for righteousness; others think it’s blowing up pizza joints. It’s the latter category, of course, that’s the obvious problem.
With the involvement now of owner Shari Redstone (daughter of deceased Sumner Redstone) it appears the sessions are also moving well into the C-suite at CBS News.

Appearently the Struggle Sessions at CBS News over fallout from the Ta-Nehisi Coates interview by Tony Dokoupil on CBS Morning over his new book The Message continue.
