1. Watched the video of Taibbi’s speech yesterday. Powerful stuff…

   The endgame is not controlling speech. They’re already doing that. The endgame is getting us to forget we ever had anything to say.

   1. The Leigh Brown video is counterproductive. Anyone who goes through so much effort to tell me that they aren’t a grifter? They won’t get my money. I donated to the American Red Cross instead.

3. Only skimmed it but not sure bringing back duels is the best way to deal with censors.

   1. Oh, I don’t know. It would almost certainly cause most of the cowardly woke to mind their manners. The few nervy ones would be promptly dead – useful object lessons. People who developed a hypertrophied taste for duelling might be taken down appropriately through creatively exercised choice of weapons as traditionally accorded the challenged. Overripe tomatoes at ten paces, say. And the genuine hard asses confronted unreasonably could always call for – as my WW2 veteran late father used to say – “cleavers in a dark cellar.” Even men with formidable reputations as pistoleros or swordsmen would blanch and backpedal at such a suggestion back in the day.

4. I did a blog post at ChicagoBoyz about YouTube and especially Facebook censorship re the first Trump impeachment, and how I was affected. Facebook deleted posts that don’t violate its rules.
