  1. Here in the ‘hood, I saw a Biden/Harris yard sign with the slogan

    Truth Hope Decency

The Biden name was blanked, in this fancy-pants college-town subdivision where homeowners call a service for the most basic of household chores, with Duck Tape!

The word “irony” is hard to define, but would this be an example of irony? Or is it an example of total socially unaware cluelessness?

      1. Are you hinting that a certain candidate has a drinking problem?

Or did I pick up on the wrong metaphor? I thought that “serenity” was an Alcoholics Anonymous code word.

      2. Just a reminder. Laughing inappropriately is a sign of inebriation, but not all persons with a socially inappropriate laugh are drinking,

      3. Well the courage and wisdom part, besides being untrue, wouldn’t leave much room for cluelessness.

But now that you mention it, it would make for a fun yard sign:
        Biden/Harris: Courage, Wisdom, Serenity.

But what I was going for was a little more nuanced. Like just the initials.

Sort of like the mental image I get whenever I see this yard sign:

        No matter who,
        You must vote Blue.

Telomir Pharmaceuticals Featured in Local ABC Exclusive Showing Positive Outcomes of Proposed Age Reversal Pill in Dogs
In the segment, “ABC7 Exclusive: New study reveals promising results for age reversal pill on dogs,” the transformative potential of Telomir-1 was showcased through the stories of Zeus and Benson, two senior dogs from Donte’s Den rescue organization in Myakka City, Florida. After being treated with Telomir-1, both dogs exhibited significant improvements in their health conditions. Zeus, a 12-year-old German Shepherd, showed complete remission of terminal cancer, while Benson, a 12-year-old Newfoundland suffering from severe arthritis, regained his mobility, leading to what caretakers described as a miraculous recovery.

Erez Aminov, the newly appointed Chairman CEO of Telomir Pharmaceuticals, expressed his commitment to advancing the science behind Telomir-1 and accelerating its path to market.

“The results seen in this study are a testament to the groundbreaking potential of Telomir-1. Our focus is on ensuring that we continue to push forward with the rigorous scientific research necessary to bring this promising treatment into human trials for particular indications, through the regulatory process and to ultimately to market as quickly and safely as possible. At Telomir, we are committed to transforming the future of longevity science, and these early findings bring us one step closer to achieving that goal,” said Aminov.

      1. “Oh, that’s just what we need: an immortal Hillary Clinton.”

So…your willing to age and die yourself (and by extension everyone you care about) just to make sure Hillary Clinton checks out too? If you’re thinking only rich people would be able to afford it, consider the cost savings of Medicare/SS paying to rejuvenate vs our current system of 100’s of thousands paid per elderly person who expires anyway. Versus rejuvenated people who remain productive non custodial taxpayers.

        1. You don’t really think rejuvenation would mean loss of eligibility for Social Security? Have I got a bridge for you!

          1. “You don’t really think rejuvenation would mean loss of eligibility for Social Security?”

Precisely. That’s the cost savings (or more exactly deferred costs) If you want to be rejuvenated on the government’s dime you would likely forfeit SS/pension since you are able to continue to work theoretically. Of course if you opt out and would rather keep drawing a pension/SS and age and die normally sure that would be permitted. Why not? Doubt if very many folks would rather die than continue to have to work but who knows? In any case with robotics/AI/nano-tech there might come a time when we are all pretty much on the dole so to speak.

    1. I’m sometimes willing to give most politicians the benefit of the doubt and merely consider them criminals. It isn’t always the case, but it’s a pretty good bet. Besides, some politicians of aren’t psychopaths. Some are sociopaths.
