Dr. Mary Newport has a very interesting book “Clearly Keto: For Healthy Brain Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention” where she shares that her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in his early 50’s, and how a daily spoonful of coconut oil (a medium chain triglyceride) along with specific dietary changes did noticeably improve his brain function for many years via formal clinical trials before he died of an infection. Her thesis is that the brain prefers ketones over carbohydrates for optimal function.

  2. Or we may find out there are no “autoimmune diseases,” as the concept is become a catch-all for disease entities the woke medical community can’t figure out. For each current autoimmune disease there is a known infectious etiology that’s being swept under the rug. I have experience in the field, though it’s becoming antiquated despite effort to keep up.
