If Dorsey is for it I’m automatically skeptical.
Agreed. Especially when I saw Dorsey, the guy in charge who caused all the problems because of “the need to maximize revenue”, now dumping all over the mess he created.
If Dorsey were serious about this, he’d be an example of how not to do things, giving talks about “My Role in FUBARing the Internet’.

I create my own algorithm by bookmarking content creators and manually visiting their content. The problem isn’t keeping those creators in my feed but finding new content.
Censorship of removing people from platforms is an issue and well as blacklisting them from advertising. Will this new system will be resistant to unpersoning?
Tipping people already has a lot of channels but giving people money for saying good morning isn’t a business model one can rely on and isn’t one that can be replicated for people who don’t already have content elsewhere.
There should be an app called Adamus, about the past of the Internet. You know, back when it seemed promising?
