Grizzlies have become so common in the lower 48 that they’ve become a problem.
I think it’s been well over a century since the last one died in California, but in a sense it was the state animal of the Bear Flag Republic. Though possibly it referred to black bears, which remain plentiful there.

Bring these concerns up to any Democrat and the response is, “Those people shouldn’t live there. It isn’t their land.”

I was just thinking about The Silurian Hypothesis, that is, the thought experiment that were there an industrial civilization among intelligent dinosaurs, could we find evidence for this, say from depletion of uranium or oil or iron deposits or evidence of global environmental impacts?
Could we speculate that were there a dino-industrial civilization, that they would have wiped out all of the T-Rexes as too dangerous to pets and small children?
