More like wither California. I’ll be notching a half-century here around Thanksgiving, but the only reason we didn’t leave years ago was offspring working jobs here. Should that change, I expect we’ll join the ranks of “Reverse Okies” and hit the road as well.
My take is that there’s not much one can do about California except document it. Leadership steers for rocks and enough voters go along with it.

I guess my thinking is that no idea is too terrible that no one will ever try it again. But they usually try those ideas again because they never learned how badly they failed before.
No. Escape to Wyoming or back to Florida from whence you came. Do so while you still can avoid the residential relocation tax comrade!

Wish I had done that then, instead of waiting until 2008. But at least I got out.
In the future, Oregon will be a demilitarized zone between Mexifornia and Greater Idaho.
