Britain, on the other hand, will always do the wrong thing.
The Conservatives have certainly taken a beating, but as Mark noted, they didn’t go Kim Campbell. You never want to go Kim Campbell.

This is actually a good thing. The Conservatives must be put in a position where they can only win by being, and campaigning as, conservatives.
