  1. Israel to launch satellites solely in retro-grade orbits in order to make orbital calculations easier in Hebrew? Protests against Israel erupt vociferously in the space community?*

*OK, I know, I know, it is not April 1st. But seriously, you expect aerospace advice from me? 🙂

  2. Years ago, when I was president of The Moon Society, I was contacted by an Israeli publication about, of all things, retirement homes on the Moon. Probably related to some scam going on, but I made sure to point out that there were none on the Moon, nor any viable plans to build any. That being said, I did also point out some of the foreseen benefits, like the gravity being easier on the heart, falls are easier to get up from, and muscles seem comparatively stronger. Although all those benefits would fade with time as the body adapted to its new environment.
I did get a PDF of the article, and have the printout somewhere in the Lunar Library, but of course it was in Hebrew so I don’t know what the final quotes ended up being.

  3. Jewish Space Lasers?

In all seriousness, I would look at Israeli companies and investors with strong ties to newspace.
