A Wharton statistician explains the evidence that Hamas is lying (shocking, I know!) about civilian casualties.
Wyner was a key witness in my defense, who pulled Mann’s pants down on his statistics (ironic, because Mann is now at Penn as well). He’s also a great guy.
[Friday-morning update]
More thoughts on the lies of Hamas.
[Bumped]
I think the full quote is: Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics.
Or was that? Lies, Damned Lies, Statistics and Verdicts.
Lies, damned lies, and launch schedules.
Damn, expect the fake numbers to get more realistic now.
Looks like Hamas needs to get some better AI software to do their lying for them.
Seriously, expect soon to see software packages that can “massage” fake data to make it appear natural. At least I haven’t heard of any. But don’t base them on some Global Cooling Climate Warming Crisis simulation packages. Or that shitty piece of software that was used four years ago this month to justify the Bat Flu “two weeks to flatten the curve” lockdowns.)
Damn, expect the fake numbers to get more realistic now.
That change will be revealing. And more realistic numbers are better anyway.
Intuitively, the numbers could not be as high as Hamas has been saying. The math now confirms it.
For years the ‘supposed’ population numbers has been suspected of having many imaginary Gazans. — more Gazans need more foreign aid, right? This is a scam as old as time and one reason that royal paymasters demanded that military units march before the officials before drawing their pay!
This is exactly the kind of thing I’m afraid AI will be very good at.
