A thought experiment: What if she had been black? Would her shooter have been promoted? Or something else?

Black on Black killing is not reported.
If she had been black, and the cop white, the cop would be UNDER the prison by now.
And that is only mild hyperbole.
Ask Roseanne Boyland.
Just like the climactic scene in ‘A Time to Kill’.
To paraphrase Whoopi, she wouldn’t be black black if she was at a conservative rally.
And how much sympathy here would there be for a black woman doing the same swan dive in on armed officers for President Whoopi? The lack of transparency should be a crime just like when rumors portray Officer Sicknick being bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher while the real story (dying of a preexisting medical condition) was conveniently suppressed for weeks until his memorial ceremony (before the ceremony and after, for example).
Cops are allowed to use deadly force to defend themselves, or others.
A middle-aged woman half through a window in a door is not a threat to the murderer who shot her, nor anyone else.

You know this how? My take is that first, nobody would have known she was unarmed. Second, maybe she could have opened the door allowing a mob to enter – I don’t know how it was secured/barricaded and maybe the shooter didn’t know either.
Transparency would let us know what happened here, but my take is that it won’t look good for Babbit.
I want to smack the headline writer. The FBI was sued, not criminally charged like they should be.
