Everyone got excited when SpaceX personnel installed the FTS explosives and then went on to fully stack SS25 and B9, assuming that meant that a license had been issued. However, there have been comments on nasaspaceflight (the most authoritative non SpaceX source, IMHO) that suggests that the current license already covers such activity, implying that SpaceX is just getting as ready as possible if and when the fish counting ends. What sort of serious country outsources its launch licenses to a bunch of government greenies?
The same country that puts Kamala Harris in front of a group of child actors pretending to be STEM students to talk about returning to the moon. Presumably in big yellow school buses?
I’m not just getting at the US. Our idiot Prime Minister has just offered the entire nation of Tuvalu asylum in Australia because of rising sea levels. It is a coral atoll guys. It is always at most a couple of meters above Mean Sea Level.
I forget which one it is, but one of the inhabited South Pacific islands has its highest point 35 inches above sea level. At 10 sq mi and 11,000 or so people, Australia could lose it in a suburb.
