Here is what you’re not hearing because it’s being suppressed.
It really is a religious hysteria.

TLDR. But then, I have Watts Up With That (https://wattsupwiththat.com/) in my short list of blog links, along with Transterrestrial.com. I get the best of the real skinny in digestible bites.
It’s nice to see some scientists finally coming out against the idea of a “climate emergency” being upon us. But it’s horrifying to not see legions of engineers standing in solidarity against what would be the end of civilization: ending the use of fossil fuels.
Are we engineers really that stupid?
Yes, absolutely. Are you kidding? Look at the scientists, your professional peers, falling over themselves to enrich their careers by lying. Look at the invasion of DEI into science, math, and engineering programs in colleges everywhere. Yes, yes, yes.
Money, government. Need I say more?
“Are we engineers really that stupid?”
For the most part, engineers (I was trained as one) are not the ones making the big decisions or doling out the money. Engineers have a long tradition of taking other people’s stupid ideas and somehow making them sort of work (e.g. the Sydney Opera House).
How many hamster cages do we need to turn over this puppy?
I watched one of Sabine Hossenfelder’s recent videos, concerning a scientist who fudged the data in his climate bullshit paper, and got caught. Her lament was that his malfeasance gave ammunition to “climate deniers.”
Anyone who uses the term “climate denier” has, IMHO, gone full Lysenko. You never go full Lysenko. Just sayin’…
Think also why it’s more important that the other side doesn’t gain a few yards than combating research fraud. It’s yet another ideology where important things slide because they’re obsessing over something else.
There’s no penalty for committing intentional fraud on the taxpayer’s dime. That needs to change.
