Science relies a lot on the people engaging in it being honest but there is no correlation between being intelligent and being a good person. This leaves us with a significant population of less than ethical people who are pros at Calvinball.
Should we arrest ‘The Science’ and charge it with negligent homicide?
Actually maybe “depraved-heart” murder fits the bill better. You rarely hear that charged in the US but apparently it’s a legal charge. Upon reading the description in Wikipedia, seems to be a better fit.
