    1. I’ll say, only one body found in the wreckage with 4 bullet holes to the back of the head! Could’ve happened to anyone!

      1. Clearly, those 4 bullet holes in the back of his head show he was despondent and self-harmed…

  1. Seriously, what did anyone expect to happen after Wagner started their push towards Moscow? Putler isn’t exactly a live and let live guy.

    1. No kidding. Prigozhin should’ve been faking his name on airplane passenger lists, in retrospect.

    2. Speaking about the Austrian Corporal, when Prigohzin occupied Rostov, apparently with Russian military guys waving his Wagner guys in, why did he turn north towards Moscow?

Couldn’t he have turned east towards the Caucuses and their oil fields?

      1. It would not have made any difference where he tried to go. He was a dead man walking for at least the past 2 months, and probably longer. With Putler, it wasn’t a matter of if Prigohzin was going to die, it was a matter of when and how. Now we know.

        1. Prigozhn was clearly not evil enough. When the time comes and a large scale power outage in Moscow causes Putin’s respirator to eventually fail, whatever comes next will be far worse. Of that, it’s the only thing of which I’m certain.

  2. Not to change the subject, but I always thought ZeroHedge was useless. Seeing them promote Max Blumenthal, a nonentity who would be flipping burgers were he not two degrees of separation from the Clintons, does not improve my opinion of ZeroHedge.

  3. If true, unfortunate. Can’t think of anyone besides Putin that deserves a long, excruciating, humiliating death more.

    1. Biden? Obama? Bush (x2)? Zelensky? How about the Lahaina mayor or the guy who refused.to turn on the water?

      You don’t have much imagination.

  4. Who voluntarily flies into the capital city that you just two months ago tried to topple, with the leader you intended to topple still in power, and expect live?

  5. The entire Wagner group senior leadership on one plane? Forgive my cynicism but guys don’t get where they are by being stupid, or underestimating Putin. Betcha he’s still alive.

  6. Ctrot, that might just tell you that the whole “rebellion” was staged.
Can we believe anything we read?

  7. Prigozhin was boss of a private military company which allegedly makes him evil. Erik Prince and Blackwater? What does that make him?

    1. Someone asked to do something by his government who was then stabbed in the back by that same government.

          1. For members of Wagner you had two choices. Join the regular Russian army or flee to Belarus, where you can be liquidated by those who have no Russian patriotic zeal for what you accomplished. When the hammer is not employed the sickle surely will be. In the West we’ll be lucky to hear of it, not that anyone in the West will particularly care about the demise of mercenaries.

  8. This was a real tactical error on Putins part. He took his well oiled extortion/mercenary machine and sent it to war and believed it would play nice with his political armed forces. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Now he has a subpar army, and a broken extortion system.
