Terrestrial life we’ve never seen before.
It seems increasingly likely to me that there is other life in the solar system. I think that ocean moons are the best candidates.

All life on Earth is very closely related, no matter what it looks like. If we find the same stuff inside of Enceladus. the only question will be who came first. I want to see fundamentally alien life (or else proof of panspermia). In one of my books, I had piezeoelectric life forms. That would be alien enough.
