What’s with that website’s headline fonts? Castle Wolfenstein?
It’s not that I support Ukraine…but anything that hurts Russia is an objective good
Agreed.
“The Hollywood-tailored excitement of the Battles of Kyiv and Kharkiv may have unduly raised the bar for what Ukraine can accomplish in short order. ”
These guys open up by knocking other people for subliminally absorbing propaganda.
Then we are supposed to assign a higher truth to Russians complaining than we are Ukrainians complaining.
Whatever the future holds for this war, both countries have been getting their butts kicked so far and neither looks positioned to do anything meaningful.
Someplace in everybody’s mind is that Putin, confronted with a sufficient Ukrainian force concentration, might neutralize it with nukes. Just because that would be an insanely stupid move doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be just one more insanely stupid move on his list of accomplishments.
Ukraine doesn’t have either the manpower or equipment to make grand gestures. Nor, when the momentum is in their favor, is there a lot to gain by some deep penetration. Russia’s rear is already so disorganized that there’s not that much more the Ukrainians could do in person. They can nibble away, forcing Russia to man a long front with an ever diminishing army and completely dysfunctional logistics.
