How it became a nightmare.
I wanted to move to California ever since I was a kid in Michigan, and a few decades ago, I did. I still love the climate and the scenery, but the government, in both the coastal cities and Sacramento, is becoming more disastrous by the year.

My youngest son has lived in San Diego for almost 30 years, starting when he went to basic training there. He spent most of his Navy career in San Diego, married, and raised his two sons there. They’ve had enough and are actively shopping for a home here in Huntsville, AL. They’re sick of what California has become and of their votes not meaning anything. My wife and I are thrilled.
