So, it looks good. Anybody have any feel for how long, if ever, something like this would take to reach the streets? Or even a back alleyway, if the FDA is being recalcitrant?
Death is undefeated, Rand. Don’t get your hopes too high.
Obviously death will never be defeated. That doesn’t mean that we can’t have an indefinite healthspan.
… we can’t have an indefinite healthspan.
For some definition of indefinite.
Rand remember, there’s a Black Hole out there with your name in it, we think. 🙂
I expect that there is a light at the end of a tunnel even for Rand 🙂
Likely years before it get FDA approval for use in humans; suppose clinics would be setup overseas well before that. However I still believe that Dr. Greg Fahy is the lead horse in this race:
We are talking about direct measurable (by DNA methylation clocks) rejuvenation results in Humans. Regenerating the Thymus apparently produces huge results and accomplished with relatively inexpensive ff the shelf meds. Steve Horvath “Grim-Age clock” I believe is actually one of the phase 2 subjects.
That’s interesting. I talked to Greg at Foresight Weekend in December (first time I’d seen him in decades, though he’s now out in Fontana, so I could drive out and see what he’s up to).

Or maybe even sign up for the follow up program “TRIIM-X clinical trial” yourself. The drug cocktail that rejuvenates the Thymus gland is HGH, Metformin & DHEA; in the first trial he spoke of a rejuvenation measured by DNA methylation clocks of 1.5 yrs (or more) per year of treatment.
I expect, on my deathbed, as my consciouness fades for the last time, I’ll hear they’ve created immortal mice…
