Among the many things I mourn from that long ago time was the cancellation of MoLab, a crewed mobile hab, where the crew would drive from one landed LM to another, swapping places with that crew, which would push on to the next. The Oceanus Procellarum expedition would have been the crown jewel of Apollo. And then, of course, there’s the Tycho landing, for the scenery alone…
Are they they making manned rover for Moon, and would be used for
Mars explorational, also?
NASA wants an early unpressurized “moon buggy” and a later pressurized exploration rover. Mars? Probably modified Tesla trucks.
