  1. If it became apparent that the Democrat’s House Leadership panicked at the thought of witnesses, which they had asked for, along with the whole call-out-the-National Guard thing, why oh why did Mr. Romney vote to convict?

There is that damning thing about President Trump making the finger motion of playing the world’s smallest violin when Kevin McCarthy called him to say that he and the rest of Congress were under siege.

Then there is that counter-damning thing about the president ordering the Acting Sec Def to put 10,000 National Guard troops on standby and them never being asked for — remember it is a Separation-of-Powers thing for Congress to arrange their own security.

Did the Democrats panic when the Trump legal team was going to call the Speaker to ‘splain herself?

What is the matter with this man, Mitt Romney? Was he paying the least bit of attention about what was transpiring? How did he get “that close” to becoming president? Is this an Al Gore type of thing, where losing a presidential election makes a person goofy?

  2. Now that impeachment is behind us, waiting for the avalanche of civil and criminal prosecutions. Largely I expect, out of the Southern District of NY.
