  1. Engineering ethics is a “thing.” Since have specialist knowledge, we have a duty and obligation to protect persons and property.

    A gehn-you-eye-n Near-Eastern obelisk might set on its base that it can be readily toppled. A fake Ancient Cultures Revival obelisk my be pinned down, for all I know. Kind of the like the US Capitol Dome isn’t really a self-supporting arch-type dome in the classical style — it has a steel structure support. I bet the Washington Memorial is not a true obelisk either but a modern reinforced tall building.

    I am telling people if they follow the professor’s advice, they might just break off a piece and put someone’s eye out.

      1. I don’t think so, at least not yet. She might be busy, though.

        “Destroy your cultural heritage and tear down monuments in the name of ______!” is not a good look for an Egyptologist.

    1. Deaths of George Floyd riots and deaths of China virus, aren’t the big factors involved. Making hospitals unavailable for general public was problem of China virus. And making cities unavailable for general public is main issue of George Floyd riots.

      If don’t understand this, you don’t see how the News Media are vampires, with their religion of, “if it bleeds it leads”.
      Riots are car accidents which the media mindless pays attention to, because the public mindless pays attention to that kind of thing.
      Similar to police chases of crazy drivers- just, a lot more of it.
